Laurie Reid, LMFT, MCAP

Senior Behavioral Health Consultant

Laurie Reid is a seasoned Behavioral Health Program Leader and Organizational Strategist with over 20 years of experience in clinical operations, program development, and strategic advisory. She specializes in assessing population needs, designing innovative behavioral health programs, defining outcome metrics, and building high-performing, cross-functional teams to lead projects from concept to implementation.

Currently, Laurie serves as an international Behavioral Healthcare Accreditation and Compliance Consultant. In this role, she advises executive teams across federal agencies, state and local programs, private organizations, and global networks on Joint Commission accreditation readiness. Her expertise spans mental health, substance use disorders, eating disorders, and foster care systems.

A trusted C-suite advisor and national keynote speaker, Laurie is recognized as a subject matter expert on veterans’ mental health, integrated treatment methodologies, and clinical program development. Her collaborative leadership style and deep clinical insight have enabled her to partner with universities, government agencies, healthcare organizations, and community-based providers nationwide.

Following her service in the U.S. Navy, Laurie earned her Master of Science in Family Therapy from Friends University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Wichita State University. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida, Georgia, and Texas, an Internationally Certified Addiction Professional, and is currently pursuing certification from the Integrative Psychiatry Institute in psychedelic therapy training.
