Karen Dargan is a retired Air Force veteran with 26 years of service and is a dedicated leader in perioperative nursing.  Currently serving as the OR Nurse Manager at a high volume ambulatory surgery center, Karen oversees surgical operations, supply management, staffing and sterile processing department, ensuring efficiency and compliance with the highest safety standards.  She is an advocate for the highest standards in patient safety and quality care and is currently a busy surveyor for Quad A accrediting agency.

As a certified Operating Room Nurse (CNOR) and an active member of the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses (AORN). Karen is passionate about delivering safe, high quality surgical care.  With specialized training in infection control practices, she is committed to optimizing patient safety, surgical outcomes, and operational efficiency.  Throughout her career, Karen has demonstrated strong leadership, problem-solving and strategic planning skills, making a significant impact on both patient care and clinical team performance.
